This is the starting point of the Appalachian Trail, Springer Mt. Ga. and ending at Mt. Katahdin Maine.  This Trail is 2,200 miles long, and is for the more experienced hiker. The AT runs through 14 states; Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecitcut, Massachusetts, vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine.
